Standing, he whirls onto a unique or an act boss near him and spins on it a moment, else into the middle of the thickest pack near him. Walking or running, he whirls along where you steer him, at his own pace, and only with monsters in his way.
Each hit is his weapon blow at Diablo II’s Whirlwind percent for the level, as his weapon swings in Diablo II.

Cyclone — It hits monsters 71% farther around you, but deals 28% less damage.
Dervish — It whirls onto the toughest monster nearby and spins on it for 2 seconds. It deals 7% less damage.
Blazing Path — Half its damage is fire, and the ground you whirl over burns for 1.5 seconds. It deals 10% more damage.
