Evolution requirements
- Evolution An evolution: it comes from a chest, never from a level-up card. Evolved from B Blade Sentinel Catalyst Q Burst of Speed From character level 18 Evolves into B Blade Fury → B Blade Shield Catalyst V Vitality From character level 30 Once it evolves on, Blade Sentinel can evolve into it again.
Synergies and practical checks
- Its blades go one at each of the monsters around you, and each passes through three, where Diablo II’s stops at the first.
- A blade strikes as a weapon blow: it can be a critical strike and uses your items’ on-hit effects. Venom doesn’t poison it.
- Unlike Diablo II, its blades deal 50% more than Diablo II’s, their own damage and their share of your weapon’s alike, and so do Blade Shield’s.
Skill modifiers
- Hail — It throws 10 blades instead of 6, each dealing 62% of the damage.
- Return — It throws 4 blades that fly about a third as far and back, cutting both ways, for 18% less damage.
- Bullseye — All 6 blades fly at an elite or boss in range when there is one, and deal 12% more damage.
