What it does Claws for 54 damage, letting go a meteor (533), chain lightning (514), chaos ice (230), then the ice again.

These are base learned-level effects, not final character-sheet damage. Account for equipment bonuses, synergies, modifiers and enemy resistances.

Synergies and practical checks

• Fists of Fire: +13% Fire Damage per Level
• Claws of Thunder: +130% Lightning Damage per Level
• Blades of Ice: +100% Cold Damage per Level

• Each charging blow lets its charge go at once: the first a meteor, the second chain lightning, the third chaos ice. The fourth blow lets the ice go again. A finisher lets go only the last charge’s, as in Diablo II.
• Its meteor, lightning and ice take the highest of your fire, lightning and cold bonuses.
• As in Diablo II, each takes its own synergy: the meteor Fists of Fire’s, the chain lightning Claws of Thunder’s, the chaos ice Blades of Ice’s. Its claw blow takes none.
• Unlike Diablo II, its blow and its meteor, lightning and ice deal 50% more than Diablo II’s, and so do Fists of Fire’s, Claws of Thunder’s and Blades of Ice’s blows and releases: the four stand to each other as in Diablo II.
• The chaos ice freezes a normal monster for 14.8 seconds on Normal. The freeze is shorter on Nightmare and in Hell, on champions, uniques and act bosses, and by the monster’s cold resistance.
• Its lightning, ice and meteor’s fire never critically strike.

Skill modifiers

• Tempest — Its blows let go chain lightning and chaos ice in turn, and every fourth a meteor. Each deals 15% less.
• Rebirth — The first 3 blows let go nothing, and the fourth lets go all four blows' meteor, lightning and ice at once, at 110%.
• Ember — Every blow lets go a meteor, at 40% of its damage.
