Evolution requirements
Synergies and practical checks
- Each cast blows up one fresh corpse in reach of you: the one with the most monsters around it.
- It deals 70% to 120% of the slain monster’s own Diablo II life at its level, as Diablo II’s does: none of a champion’s or unique’s extra life, nor what the game gives the horde as the acts go on. A corpse higher in level than you blows up for your level over its own, as in Diablo II.
- Its reach is Diablo II’s: 216 at its 8th level, as at Diablo II’s 20 points. Its levels and gear’s +skills raise its reach; its share is Diablo II’s at every level. Its recharge stays its own level’s.
- Energy raises the whole blast. A fire immune takes its physical half, and Amplify Damage raises that half.
- Monsters its blast kills leave corpses the next cast can blow up, as in Diablo II. Its Chain skill modifier blows up the most crowded of them at once, for half the damage.
Skill modifiers
- Chain — When its blast kills, the most crowded of the corpses it leaves blows up at once, for half the damage.
- Focused — Its blast covers half the area and deals 60% more damage.
- Grave Chill — Its fire half is cold instead, which chills and hits fire immunes. Its physical half stays.
